"ONE NATION UNDER GOD"

The flag has been a important part of our culture, it  has survived over 200 years and 2 world wars. The flag has evolved physically and symbolically in times of crisis and achievement.

During the Vietnam war, the flag took on conflicting meanings that split the nation,  and by the gulf war the flag was again a uniting force.

On Sept 11, 2001 the flag, it became a symbol of hope and pride. Though tattered and dirty flying above the rubble of the world trade center. It like our country would prevail.

"America"

Our country has two National symbols:

1. The Bald Eagle

2. The American Flag

I would like to take you on a tour of  our country and show you three main things that will expose not only the purpose of our country, but the destiny of our country.

1. Intent:  (IMAGINATION)

In Genesis 1:1  the bible says In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.

this was the Imagination of God at work.....

2. Purpose:  (proclamation)

Isaiah 45:18 For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens;  God himself that formed the earth and made it' he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord; and there is none else As you read the above this is the revelation or the intent God had for this nation....understanding that everything in the OT is a type and shadow of what God is doing in the NT.

Condition of the church and our country:

Jer. 4:23-26 I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was with out form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light

24. I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.

25. I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.

26. I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the Lord, and by his fierce anger.

In Genesis 1:2  And the earth was without form, and void;  and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

STUDY NOTE:

Without form: lie waste, in confusion.

Void: empty, indistinguishable

Darkness: Misery

but as is the condition of the church so also is the condition of our country... We are in mass chaos, and rather than we turn to God's word and hold ourselves accountable as the bible says in II Chr 7:14 If my people,  which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from  their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

WICKED: ADVERSITY/DISTRESS

HEAR: DISCERN, DECLARE, PROCLAIM

HEAL: MEND AND CURE

STUDY NOTE: IF GOD IS sovereign ALL BY HIMSELF, WHY DOES HE HAVE TO HEAR FROM HEAVEN AND WHO DOES HE HEAR FROM:

We must understand the bible says that my people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge. I'm sorry my friend we need to be held accountable as Christians...as the scrip says  in

III John 1:2  Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in  health, even as thy soul prospereth. we are headed to a take down just like the Twin Towers were taken down in NY. We've blamed the devil for everything when we as God people hold the key to restoration and revival in this land. John 3: 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness,, even so  must the son of man be lifted up: with all the turmoil that was happening in that  hour, the key was Lifting his name higher....The bible says If I be lifted up, I will draw all men unto me, also the writer writes....

Psalms 68:1 Let God arise, Let  his enemies be scattered, Let them also that hate him flee before him.

My friend it's simple  when the praise of our Nation  is restored, God will bring healing, restoration and joy  in our homes, our churches and our schools.

Destiny:  (MANIFESTATION)

Genesis 1:3  And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

4. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

Light: Illumination

Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image,  after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air,and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

My friend as we begin to understand the destiny, and how God laid it out in our flag....we realize that

Isaiah 54:17  NO WEAPON THAT IS FORMED AGAINST THEE SHALL PROSPER; AND EVERY TONGUE THAT SHALL RISE AGAINST THEE IN JUDGMENT THOU SHALT CONDEMN. THIS THE THE HERITAGE OF THE SERVANTS OF THE LORD, AND THEIR RIGHTEOUSNESS IS OF ME, SAITH THE LORD.

 Genesis 1:16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

Psalms 147:4   He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.

Going up you have 5 stars 5 is the number of atoning blood/grace. This is telling us that the Grace of God tho tested it will always stand ...It's important that as you look at the stars on the flag the bottom role as 6 and the next row up has 5 this is incredible thus proving to us that thru it all The grace of God  thru the blood of Christ will prevail. and defend us thus fulfilling the the scrip when God told able his brother bloods cries out from the earth. When we struggle the blood has a voice....and what is even more unique that in the Christmas season we talk about Emmanuel being interpreted God with us, he also reveals his presence the the flag with placing the 50 stars in a blue back ground.. the color Blue indicates the heavenly presence and holy service of God, is present for the healing of God's chosen nation.

If you look across the bottom there are 6 stars. 6 being the number of man.

 5 up and 6 across...is a symbol of God grace will always cover man.....and the total star count is 50 and that being  the number of Jubilee, a time when God releases all debits and slaves from bondage.the year of liberty . the Destiny of God's people is that we will walk into Liberty because his grace is sufficient. And the scrip declares that ye shall know the truth and the truth shall you make you free....

If you look at the stripes: you will find 

7 Red stripes 7 being the number of spiritual perfection... and those 7 are colored RED..

Red: Cannot be formulated by mixing any other color together, it is a color of itself God's blood cannot be duplicated.

There are 

6 white and 6 being the number of man... and if you notice the white stripes, the color white indicates Purity and righteousness.....and these  are enclosed by the red thus God revealing to our nation  that is blood will always cover us...and sanctify and purify us..

Revelation 12:11 And they (meaning us) overcame him (the accuser of the brethren) by the  blood of the lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
