Death & life are in the power of the ??????

"Imprisoned"

Have you ever had someone say I want to tell you something, and then they change their mind or say they will tell you later?

Be honest with yourself, does it drive you crazy when they do that?  they actually imprison your mind, emotions and thoughts. because you wander what was it they were going to say, and why didn't they tell me. It's important that we understand they don't do it intentionally, but it's one of many ways that we become imprisoned by other people.

Let's look into the scripture:

James 1:19
Wherefore, my beloved brethren,  let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.

James 3:5-6,8
5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!
6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.
8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

Let's just look at some of the words and bring to life this scripture:
Tongue: Language
Iniquity: injustice
Defileth: to stain or soil or defect
Unruly: unrestrainable

Looking deeper into the scripture we find:

Proverbs 18:21
21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

thru the tongue we are given the ability to
change and or control

Matthew 17:20
20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Ecclesiastes 3:7
7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

Truly friend your thoughts do become your words, and It's important that you heed fully and unconditionally
James 1:19
Wherefore, my beloved brethren,  let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.
3 simple steps in setting your and controlling your destiny and watch what you feed into the people around you...

1. Swift to hear=to perceive, to heed
2. Slow to speak=to pronounce, to express
3. Slow to wrath=violent anger, indignation

3 is the number of Spiritual completion, truly death and life are in the power of the tongue....you can complete yourself and those around with the words that you speak.
